Пірати Сомалі звільнять судно «Фаїна» з вантажем української зброї і весь екіпаж впродовж двох днів.

Про це повідомив у вівторок телефоном агентству Ассошіейтед Прес представник морських розбійників Сугуле Алі, повідомляє ForUm з посиланням на «РИА Новости».

Судно «Фаїна» було захоплене піратами Сомалі 25 вересня. На його борту 33 танки Т-72 та інше озброєння, у складі екіпажа 17 українців, а також росіяни.

Представник піратів повідомив, що угода про викуп досягнута, проте відмовився назвати конкретну суму.

Нагадуємо, спочатку бандити вимагали 20 мільйонів доларів, проте згодом кілька разів знижували розмір викупу.
Нагадуємо також, що з початку цього року біля узбережжя Сомалі було атаковано понад 100 судів.

Зокрема, 15 листопада пірати Сомалі захопили саудівський нафтовий танкер «Сіріус стар» і зажадали за нього викуп у 25 мільйонів доларів. Пізніше з'явилася інформація про те, що пірати в ході переговорів з власниками судна вдвічі знизили суму викупу.

«Сіріус стар» став найкрупнішою здобиччю морських розбійників Сомалі – вартість вантажу, що перевозиться ним, перевищує 100 мільйонів доларів.
